LOS GATOS, California — October 19, 2009 —Copyright registration of music can now be easily verified using Audible Magic’s new myRightsView registration service (www.myrightsview.com). Featuring an easy-to-use interface, the new service is available to anyone who wants to ensure appropriate ownership for royalty, licensing, anti-piracy or use purposes.

The beta phase of myRightsView service is available now. Customers can upload songs for registration verification against Audible Magic’s Content Registry database, which contains more than seven million copyrighted songs and videos. The first five songs uploaded will be matched for free. Subsequent charges begin at $5.00 U.S. for the next five songs; per song prices will continue to reduce as more songs are uploaded for matching.

Additional features of the myRightsView service will be rolled out in early 2010, and will include free song registration for content owners. Owners will be able to upload their music to Audible Magic’s extensive Content Registry database, which affords copyright protection through any of the CopySense appliance compliance tools.

Another feature of the myRightsView service to debut in 2010 will include a claiming process facilitated by Audible Magic. If a record label or artist finds a copyrighted song to be inappropriately registered by a third party, the myRightsView service will enable them to immediately file a copyrights claim. This service will also be available free of charge.
